More opportunities for locally made gifts (or even gifts for yourself!)

As the holiday season approaches, there are more and more opportunities to check out locally made art and crafts at nearby shows.  Come out and support Mount Washington neighbors –  All of the shows have at least one neighbor participating, but I would love to find out how many neighborhood artists are participating so please add other names to the comments below.

This show includes jewelry, small sculptures and handmade silk scarves .  It will include Mount Washington artist Shana Kroiz.  Other artists include, David Bacharach, Pam Fischer, Lori Gottlieb, Gisele Kolb, Wendy McAllister, Dara O’Malley, Judy Pyle, Paula Reynolds, Susan Sanders, Lauren Schlossberg, Kristen Sunwoo Lee and April Wood.

(off York Road & Woodbourne OR Charles Street behind Notre Dame)

Take 83 to Coldspring East, turn left on Charles Street. Go 4 blocks, turn right on Homeland Avenue. KOC building on right side, there will be a sign out front.

This show includes crafts from 30 Maryland artists, organic food and seated massages!  Some of the artists include Mt. Washington resident Shelly Daly, along with Sandra Magsamen, Mary DeMarco of La Contessa, and Rick Shelley.
