I received the following update on the sale of local Trees at St. John’s TONIGHT and this weekend:

Please know that CHRISTMAS TREES WILL BE AVAILABLE THIS FRIDAY NIGHT (roughly 4 pm to 8 pm), before the frosted flakes even begin to fall.  (And this time we should have lights strung so you don’t drive by and miss us!)  We have freshly cut Frasier, Douglas, Canaan, and White Pine.

Because this is the LAST weekend before Christmas, and we don’t want to leave anyone high and dry for the holiday (AND we don’t want any trees left over!!!), WE WILL STILL BE OUT ON THE LOT THIS SATURDAY for your tree-buying convenience, regardless of weather!

For those of you who have fond childhood memories of driving out to the countryside and chopping down your own trees, you can still get some of that rough woolly winter experience by parking on the far side of St. John’s lot, trudging through the 2-4 inches of snow, and hefting your tree back to your car yourself.

On the other hand, we are more than happy to trim, load, and tie it down for you.  Your call!

IF we have any trees left over (and I’m crossing my fingers NOT to!), we will be open for sales on SUNDAY as well … but with only about two dozen newly cut trees left, we should run out by then.

Thank you for supporting a LOCAL Maryland Tree Farmer, as well as the community outreach and historic preservation work of St. John’s.

So if you are still looking for a tree, head down to St. John’s tonight or tomorrow and pick one up.
