Christmas Tree Mulching and Pickup Information

Now that Christmas is over and New Year’s is upon us, I know that some families are having a harder time remembering to water the Christmas tree and are starting to think about putting away the decorations.  When you are ready to take out the tree, you have two choices this year.  You can take it to be mulched – and then bring the mulch home to use if you want!  Or you can put it out for pick up on trash day.  Community groups can also come and get mulch for community gardens, while supplies last.  All of the details are provided by the Department of Public Works below:
