Mt. Washington History Quiz (Part 1)

Submitted by on January 10, 2010 – 8:25 pmNo Comment

What better to do on a bitter cold day than curl up with your computer to complete this week’s Mount Washington Post quiz.  This week’s topic: Mount Washington history.

From telephones to trains, this quiz will test your knowledge of the neighborhood as it used to be.

All of the facts that form the basis for this quiz came from Mark Miller’s Mount Washington: Baltimore Suburb – A History Revealed Through Pictures and Narrative.  If you own the book, you should do quite well.  If not, well, Amazon should be able to get it to you before the quiz closes in a week.

Once again, the names of the winners will be posted with the answers.  If you do not wish to be publicly exposed as a secret history ninja, I’ve provided a check-box at the bottom for you.  Please also know that we won’t use your email addresses to spam you.  Enough with the formalities – on with the quiz!
