Tomorrow – Saturday – Neighborhood Institute
While I apologize that this is last minute, I just found out about the Greater Homewood Community Corporation’s Neighborhood Institute tomorrow. The day will include both a panel discussion and lots of different workshops through the day. I thought that some Mount Washington neighbors who work with other communities in the City would be interested. I also think that if anyone has the time to attend, many of the workshops sound like they could provide helpful information applicable to anyone living in a city neighorhood – including our own. Advocating for the schools, greening the neighborhood, working with the police are all examples of topics that are frequently discussed in Mount Washington. If anyone is able to attend and wants to report back to the community, please let me know.
