Meeting on changes at Luckman Park – New Date

Thank you to Shea Lyda for providing the following invitation to come and hear about the updates on Luckman Park. Everyone is welcome to learn more about all of the exciting upgrades coming to Luckman this spring:
Please join Friends of Luckman Park (FLP) on Thursday, February 11, at 7:00. There are two exciting developments for the park.
- Recreation & Parks will present the nearly-completed landscape plan for the upcoming park renovation. This will be the last opportunity for community feedback before construction begins this spring.
- We will be introducing Lacy Fabian, the new chair of FLP! We were delighted when Lacy stepped up and volunteered to take the lead on stewardship for the park. She and her husband – Jeff Fabian – are new to Mt. Washington and wanted to get more involved with the community. We’re very grateful that they chose Luckman Park to get started!
Everyone is welcome! Please join us and hear about the exciting changes coming to Luckman Park. Thursday, February 11, 7:00 pm at our house. Light refreshments will be served.

The photo shows the existing entrance to Luckman park. This is one of the areas that will be getting a make over during the renovations. Shea mentions that there will be new grading, landscaping, stairs and signage. Hopefully this will help more neighbors find Luckman Park!

Mt Washingtonians owe Shea and Russ a debt of gratitude for all they have done to carry the torch for Luckman Park over the past decade. They have given so much of themselves and their time to keep the park clean and maintained. Many thanks to the new chair, Lacy, and her husband, Jeff, for stepping up to take the helm.
