Ellen provided the following details more specific to the clean up happening here in Mount Washington:
This Saturday is the Jones Fall Watershed Clean up day from 9:00am-12:00pm. Meet at the Boy Scout Memorial on the corner of Bonnie View and Kelly Avenue and clean up the Western Run Stream. We will have bags & gloves and hope to clean up the trash along the banks of Western Run from Bonnie View to Mt. Washington Village. If we have enough volunteers, we will also work from Bonnie View towards Greenspring. A group of folks from Boys Latin will pickup the trash starting at the Light Rail working downstream. There will be a dumpster at 5910 Smith Avenue, adjacent to the Light Rail stop. This dumpster will be available for both sites.
This is a great way to earn graduation credit hours for high school students and spruce up the neighborhood for Spring! Hope to see you there!!
