Baltimore EcoFest Saturday to Kick Off Baltimore Green Week, Electronics Recycling, and Free Coffee tomorrow
If you are interested in the sustainability, want to learn about being more environmentally friendly or just want to have a good time, check out the 7th annual EcoFest this Saturday April 17th from Noon until 6 pm at Druid Hill Park. The event’s website provides the following description:
Baltimore Green Week’s kick off event, EcoFest, invites local food vendors, growers, businesses and organizations that maintain a sustainable focus. There will be plenty of activities happening so use this opportunity to try something new like yoga, take a bike ride around the reservoir, dance or sing along to June Star and the Frontier Dentists or take a moment to enjoy a back massage. There will also be tours of the new Highlandtown Healthy Living Center from 1-4 p.m.
Celebrate the health of your city and your friends a EcoFest on April 17th!
Visit the Baltimore Green Works website for tons more information on the fun things for adults and children taking place during EcoFest and throughout the rest of Baltimore Green Week.
If you are trying to do your part to improve your own home environment by getting rid of some unneeded electronics, remember that the Whole Food’s E-Cycle event is also on Saturday in Mount Washington. The electronics recycling is running from 10 am – 3 pm, so stop by on your way to EcoFest.
Finally, if you want a little reward for being environmentally aware, stop by Starbucks tomorrow (April 15th) with a reusable travel mug and you can get a free brewed coffee.
