Obituaries – Patricia Sonquist Lane, Dorothy Zimmerman, Mendel Friedman
The following are links to three obituaries from the last few weeks of Mount Washington neighbors who have passed away. All of these individuals were long time Mount Washington residents who will be missed by friends and family. On a personal note, Pat Lane lived immediately across the street from me for more than 20 years (she lived there much longer than that). She was directly responsible for facilitiating my parents buying my childhood home where my mother still lives. When Pat and her husband, Dan Lane, decided to leave their Mount Washington home, they sold it to one of the girls who had grown up next door to them – friends that she knew would care for the house and love living there. Pat was always very passionate about protecting the environment and the neighborhood. While I did not know Dorothy Zimmerman or Mendel Friedman personally, our condolences to go their families as well.
