Pre-Memorial Day Neighborhood Cookout

Submitted by on May 24, 2010 – 9:55 pmNo Comment

Elizabeth Grove wanted us to get the word out about her family’s pre-memorial day cookout (everyone’s invited).

Dear Neighbors,
It’s time once again for the annual Pre-Memorial Day Cookout.  This casual gathering will be held on Sunday, May 30, beginning at 2 pm, and the invitation is open for everyone.  We’ll have a couple of grills going, and will provide paper goods and some food and drinks to start us off.  Everyone is welcome to bring food and/or drinks to share, games to play, extra chairs to sit on … and your friends and neighbors!
Our trampoline is in full bounce, some neighbors gave us an air hockey table (front porch) for the kids, and we’ll have the volleyball net up out front.  We’ll probably set up some horseshoe pits.  I’ve asked Edward if he can put in a pickle-ball court between our house and Gail’s, but I don’t think that will happen by the 30th!
Anyway, please join us for the Pre-Memorial Day Cookout.  We look forward to seeing you then!

P.S.  We have two big friendly dogs (the infamous Dingo and LuLu) and two older friendly cats.  The dogs will probably be somewhat penned up, but just FYI.
